Above you see a picture of my latest creation. The 20 minute bow. I would also
add the bow costs less than $10.00 in materials not to include the cost of a string.
Shown on top is a 53" bow that pulls around 45 pounds @ 28" and a 60" bow that
pulls about 50 pounds at 28". The top bows are bare with temporary strings and a
48" ruler. The bows are made using PVC plastic conduit and solid fiberglass rods.
Smaller bows are made using two 5/16" by 48" fiberglass rods that are sold at the
most lumber yards and home centers for use as a post for driveway reflectors and
they will cost you about $2.50 each. The plastic pipe is electric conduit and is less
than  $1.00 for a 10' piece. The 60" bow is made using a 1/2" by 57" solid fiberglass
rod. This webpage is an experiment. I'll only know it's successful by your response.
